The Borderers is set on the Watton, which is a main road into Brecon.

There is space to park 5 cars in the central courtyard, which is accessible through an arched entryway. Only one vehicle per room is permitted because of the small size of the courtyard. For bicycles, motorcycles and small cars only. No SUV's or Estates.

There is no doorbell at the street door. A ring doorbell is located in the reception area, by the dining room door. The best way to contact Gail is by text message.

The entrance hall is carpeted. It is well lit with bright lighting.

The breakfast/dining room is located on the ground floor next to the front door. This room has a wood effect floor. There are several tables to choose from, depending on the size of your party. There is a buffet area for cereals, preserves, juice, fruit and condiments. Assistance can be given with the buffet on request. Hot meals are served at the table.

Bedrooms 1 to 4 are on the first floor, accessed from a flight of stairs. These stairs are carpeted in a speckled carpet in shades of brown and cream with a hand rail on the left side. As the building is very old, the steps are slightly uneven and the floor has a gentle slope to it. All rooms have remote controlled TV. All rooms have cordless kettles. All pillows and duvets are hypo-allergenic. Extra pillows and blankets are available in the cupboards, more are available upon request. A non slip shower mat is available upon request. Contrasting low flush lever situated on the cistern. Toilet roll dispenser and flip lid bin are within easy reach of the toilet. The toilet has a soft close toilet seat lid. All towels are charcoal. Shower gel & shampoo dispensers are placed inside each bathroom.

Ceiling mounted audible smoke detectors are placed in each room. We are happy to assist with luggage where possible.

Bedrooms 5, 6, 7 and 8 are situated around the courtyard on the ground floor.

This is a light room, facing the street with a neutral carpet. It has two single twin beds. The private bathroom across the hall is for the sole use of the occupants of room 2 and has light wood patterned laminate flooring. White bathroom suite. Pedestal wash hand basin, turn taps in contrasting colour. This bathroom only has a bath with hand held shower. Shower gel & shampoo dispenser are placed on the sides of the bath.
