Meg Stevens Exhibit At YGaer

This is one of the best exhibitions I’ve ever been to. Meg Stevens captured the beauty of the Brecon Beacons in a photo realistic/ impressionist style that had me walking towards and away from paintings in incoherant wonder.

We had just been top to trig point on Mynnydd Illtud earlier that day, and her painting Brecon Beacons with Autumn Bracken painted over 14 years ago captured today’s view exactly.
